Course content
Lectures: 1. Tax system of the Czech Republic. Division of taxes. Tax on income of individuals and legal entities. Further direct and indirect taxes. 2. Public health insurance, social insurance - model examples. 3. Labour Code. Empoyment Law - types of unemploed benefits. Trade Licensing Act. 4. Marketing - basic definitions. Company conceptions, company management, marketing research. Practical work: 1. Tax on income from dependent activity and emoluments of office-holders. Annual taxation of income from dependent activity. Model cases. 2. Management decision making, decision analysis, assessment criteria of decision making, preparation and selection of alternatives, familiarity with documents for the case study.

Learning outcomes
The students of the course "Economics, marketing, management" come to know the theoretical approaches, methods, techniques and procedures of management and marketing that are basic and essential constituent of the manager's academical education. At present economic knowledge is unavoidable because of affecting pursuit level of veterinary activity in the state administration. The aim of this course is to acquaint students with employment law regulations and solution of the case studies.
